Our R&D commitment spans several decades. Our work explores donkey milk, and we hold two patents in the paediatric and nutraceutical fields. This work forms part of our approach to innovation.
Patents
Research involving donkey’s milk includes work on lactic acid bacteria. This work is associated with patents in several countries. A patent for a protein concentrate derived from donkey’s milk has also been granted in Europe.

CNR-ISPA
Since 2009, Eurolactis has been working with the Institute of Food Science (CNR-ISPA) in Italy, a partnership strengthened by a scientific consultancy contract. This almost two-decade collaboration focuses on research related to donkey milk. It has led to research work associated with patents. Our relationship with CNR-ISPA supports ongoing research and innovation.
